Looking forward to joining the Glebop Jazz Trio at their new location!

Robo Lounge is located on the ground floor of the Clemow apartment building. The Clemow is located at the corner of Carling Avenue and Cambridge Street South (just west of Bronson). The street address is 275 Carling Avenue, but the public entrance is on Cambridge Street South at the corner of Clemow Avenue. The lounge is an independent pub style restaurant not owned by Clemow management. Parking is plentiful on nearby streets.

The Glebop Jazz Trio: Devon Woods - sax, subbing for John Haysom; Bert Waslander - piano; Cory Parsons - bass; Rob MacLeod (special guest) - drums.

If this performance is well attended, it will help firm up our tentative agreement with the management of the Robo Lounge regarding regular engagements of Glebop at the Robo Lounge. So we hope that many of Glebop's many supporters will join us again for dinner and jazz on Wednesday, October 7 to demonstrate to the Lounge management how popular Glebop is in this neighbourhood. It's best to come a bit early to get your food and drink order in before the music starts.

The Halloween Dinner Show is back! Scary exciting!!

Dress-up encouraged, dinner & drinks first if you want, then two sets of live music and a prize for best costume!

For this Remembrance Day, the Shenkman Arts Centre hosts an intimate, afternoon performance featuring the sounds of the 1930s, ‘40s, and ‘50s, expertly performed by a 16-piece big band.

Formed three decades ago at the Good Companions Centre, the Grey Jazz Big Band offer an entertaining program of music ranging from the big band era to popular modern hits.

Over the years, the band has performed at high-profile events including a Royal visit, the opening of the Canadian War Museum and the Ottawa Jazz Festival, delighting audiences both young and young-at-heart.

This show will be followed by coffee and treats.
